Big Concerts Coming to Virginia in November 2018

There’s a great amount of music coming to Virginia in November. From major country acts to the biggest names in rock and pop, catch your favorite artists and discover new ones all over the Commonwealth.

The National in Richmond will be bringing a number of big name artists throughout the month. The venue will be hosting The Psychedelic Furs (Nov. 2), Young the Giant (Nov. 4), Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox (Nov. 6), GWAR (Nov. 10), Dawes (Nov. 13), Slightly Stoopid (Nov. 15), New Politics (Nov. 16), Atmosphere (Nov. 17), Pusha T (Nov. 24), Dark Star Orchestra (Nov. 28 & 29), and others.

Also in Richmond, The Broadberry will be hosting acts like Saves the Day (Nov. 6), Cris Jacobs Band (Nov. 10), and J. Roddy Walston and the Business (Nov. 23 & 24).

Brian Wilson presents Pet Sounds: The Final Performances at the Dominion Energy Center on Nov. 2.

The Beacon Theatre in Hopewell will host The Marshall Tucker Band on Nov. 15 and Warrant on Nov. 16.

In Charlottesville, Chris Stapleton will be performing at the John Paul Jones Arena on Nov. 3. The Jefferson Theater will hosts artists like Guster (Nov. 3), Brett Dennen (Nov. 6), The Infamous Stringdusters (Nov. 16), and more.

The NorvaThe NorVa in Norfolk will be bringing in Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox (Nov. 7), Iron & Wine (Nov. 9), Blue October (Nov. 14), Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers (Nov. 17), Reel Big Fish (Nov. 28), Dark Star Orchestra (Nov. 30), and many others.

Phase 2 Club in Lynchburg will be bringing in acts such as Warrant (Nov. 17), Silverstein (Nov. 21), Reel Big Fish (Nov. 27), and more.

Over in Rocky Mount, the Harvester Performance Center will be hosting a number of shows including Cowboy Mouth on Nov. 2, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox on Nov. 13, The Black Lillies on Nov. 16, and more.

The  Berglund Center in Roanoke will have TobyMac performing on Nov. 1 and Bob Dylan on Nov. 10.

At Wolf Trap National Park for Performing Arts in Vienna, shows will include The Lone Bellow (Nov. 6), Nicole Atkins (Nov. 14), Maggie Rose (Nov. 16) and more.

Boney James will play at Alexandria music hall The Birchmere on Nov. 19. Also on the Birchmere’s schedule are Melissa Etheridge’s Holiday Show (Nov. 26-28), Shawn Colvin (Nov. 29), Pure Prairie League (Nov. 30) and more.

The Nighthawks will play at the State Theatre in Falls Church on Nov. 23 among many other shows.

At the Tally Ho Theatre in Leesburg, acts like George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic (Nov. 1), Everlast (Nov. 15), Kix (Nov. 17), and more will be performing.
