Big Concerts Coming to Virginia in March 2018

There’s lots of new music coming to Virginia in March 2018. From major country acts to the biggest names in rock and pop, celebrate the season with your favorite artists and discover new ones all over the Commonwealth.


Over at Virginia’s many live music venues:

  • The National in Richmond will be bringing a number of big name artists throughout the month. The venue will be hosting Eli Young Band (March 3), Spoon (March 7), The Flaming Lips (March 10), MGMT (March 21), Betty Who (March 23), Lettuce (March 28), and others.
  • The Broadberry will be hosting Deer Tick (March 11), Anders Osborne (March 17), Of Montreal (March 24), and more.
  • The Altria Theater will have Tony Bennett on March 17.
  • The Beacon Theatre in Hopewell will host Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder on March 10, Firehouse on March 24, and more.
  • In Charlottesville, Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band will be performing at the John Paul Jones Arena on March 31.
  • The Jefferson Theater will hosts artists like Matisyahu (March 14), Matt & Kim (March 24), Miguel (March 25), Drive-By Truckers (March 26), Delta Rae (March 29), and more.
  • The NorVa in Norfolk will be bringing in Jeezy (March 6), The Hunts (March 10), Dropkick Murphys (March 11), Judah and the Lion (March 18), Drive-By Truckers (March 25), and many others.
  • The Hampton Coliseum will be hosting the Hampton Spring Jam featuring Keith Sweat, Tank, Brandy, and After 7.
  • Phase 2 Club in Lynchburg will be bringing in acts such as Montgomery Gentry (March 3), Tyler Farr (March 10), Carbon Leaf (March 23), Lupe Fiasco (March 30), Puddle of Mudd (March 31), and more.
  • Luke Combs will be performing at the Salem Civic Center on March 1 and Cole Swindell will be at the Berglund Center in Roanoke on March 23.
  • The Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount will host many acts including Cowboy Junkies (March 1), Southern Culture on the Skids (March 17), Anders Osborne (March 18), John Moreland (March 28), and more.
  • At Wolf Trap National Park for Performing Arts in Vienna, shows will include San Fermin (March 30), The English Beat (March 31), and more.
  • Alexandria music hall The Birchmere will host David Archuleta on March 5. Also on the Birchmere’s schedule are Edwin McCain (March 8), The Zombies (March 13), Marc Broussard (March 20), Squirrel Nut Zippers (March 22), Lee Ann Womack (March 23), and many more.

Is Cracker scheduled anywhere? The picture suggests they are but I do not see them scheduled.
