Date: June 2, 2018 PeaceLoveRVA Yoga Festival is an all-day yoga festival held on Richmond’s Maymont Children's Farm, with local yoga instructors, food, beverage, and craft vendors, and live music performances. Yogis of all skill levels can explore the art of yoga and meditation at the festival while taking in some of the best sights, sounds, foods, and drinks of Richmond.  

Yoga for All Levels at Bold Rock Cider—Wintergreen

Held on the cidery’s outdoor patio during sunset, the backdrop of the Rockfish Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains create a truly memorable yoga experience. After you finish the class, you can relax even further with a glass of some of Bold Rock Cider’s signature beverages. Food will be available after the yoga class for those that wish to enjoy dinner with their craft cider. Not a cider drinker? The yoga instructor that teams up with Bold Rock also holds classes on Sunday mornings at Pro Re Nata Farm Brewery in Crozet!  

Love Your Body Yoga Festival—Reston

Date: June 17, 2018 This year marks the 10th annual Love Your Body Yoga Festival held in Reston, which features free activities, yoga classes, live music, complimentary massages, and healthy food samples. You’ll learn about alternative therapies like chiropractic treatment and massage at the festival, and kids can hang out in the Kids Tent for free activities like folk storytelling and laughter yoga. Admission to the festival is free and there are drawings for free yoga classes, massages, and other services.  

Mountain2Island Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga Classes—Dublin

Mountain2Island watersport rental partners with Balance Yoga in Blacksburg to host Paddleboard Yoga classes twice a month during the summer. The class lasts one hour and costs $20 with a board rental or $10 if you bring your own paddleboard. Beginners are welcome to this relaxing and fun yoga class held at Claytor Lake State Park.  

Floyd Yoga Jam—Floyd

Floyd Yoga Jam Festival Dates: August 30 - September 2, 2018 Floyd Yoga Jam is a 4-day outdoor music and yoga festival held over Labor Day weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced yogi, the festival welcomes practitioners of every skill level. Workshops and classes teach attendees about the art of yoga and other relaxation techniques, and in your free time, you can enjoy dancing, shopping the local art village, and hiking and biking mountain trails. Kids under 16 enter the festival for free and a dedicated children’s play area offers a bevy of entertainment. Primitive campsites and showers are provided for free at the festival, and local food and drink vendors will be on-site serving up delicious Virginia fare.  

Goat Yoga—Blacksburg

goat yoga Dates: Every Wednesday throughout the summer Add adorable baby goats to your yoga class and you are guaranteed to leave in a good mood. Goat Yoga, a class put on by the Blacksburg Yoga Collective, is held at Hoof Hearted Farm in Blacksburg every Wednesday during the summer (weather permitting). Baby and adult goats roam around participants as they practice yoga. The goats are gentle and playful, and might even climb on your back during the class! While the weekly yoga classes are donation-based, $10 is the suggested fee. Classes fill up quickly so make sure you book in advance!  

Yoga, Wine, Art—Delaplane

Date: TBD Arterra Wines and Hawkmoth Arts team up for Yoga, Wine, and Art, a yoga class that is followed by a complimentary wine tasting and an art class where you’ll create your own beautiful ceramic bowl, incorporating natural elements into your craft.  

Detox to Retox Beer & Yoga—Woodbridge

Dates: March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, and December 8, 2018 Every second Saturday of the month, yoga experts from WheelHouse Mind Body Studio lead Detox to Retox Beer & Yoga, an hour-long yoga class held in the Brew Republic tap room. Finish the class with a relaxing glass of their craft beer at the bar. Classes are $20 per person, and include the one hour yoga class and a 12 ounce glass of beer. Spaces are limited and sell out quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot in the class by getting your ticket online in advance.
