Iona Celtic Band

Iona Celtic Band will be performing in Luray, VA on March 13.

March 17th is coming quicker than many would like, but for the truly dedicated Irish (and those who just appreciate beer, corned beef, and the color green) it’s a day circled in red on the calendar.

Virginia boasts straight-out-the-tank home brewed beer, and almost enough Irish history to bring the blarney stone to you for the kissin’. The parades and special events – not to mention travel packages – will surely provide you with a day, if not weekend, full of celebration.

So go on, get fancy in your best green and raise a glass in honor of Virginia’s Irish heritage! Virginia Loves the Irish!

I need some advice for my blog….I like your layout. Can you help me?

Every quarter, my work team (about 14 people) spends Friday on a team outing. We’re based in Richmond. In the past, we’ve gone wine tasting near Charlottesville, toured Richmond on Segways and played laser tag. Any suggestions for a fun activity around Central VA that we could do during the day April-June? I’ve scoured the VA is for Lovers calendar but haven’t found too much on Fridays.
