Last Call: Fall Festivals

As fall wraps up and the harvest winds down, there are fewer and fewer festival options across Virginia. This is a good thing, however, as your choices are less difficult to make and some of the best festivals are the last of the year!

November 12 :: Eastern Shore Oyster Riot :: Onancock, VA
An ”all-you-care-to” extravaganza complete with fresh oysters along with a selection of international cheeses, Virginia Eastern Shore Wines and great local entertainment.

November 13 :: Bright Leaf Brew Fest :: Danville, VA
A tempting array of craft and micro brews for sampling partnered with great food and entertainment. Price includes admission, nine 4-ounce samples of beer and a souvenir glass.

November 14 :: Virginia Roast & Toast :: Norfolk, VA
Join us for an afternoon on the river filled with Virginia oysters, barbecue, Virginia micro brew beer, and wine. Ticket includes all food and beverage. Advance ticket sales only.

November 17 :: Shriner’s Seafood Festival :: South Hill, VA
Enjoy seafood, music and fun!

November 20 :: Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival :: Forest, VA
Enjoy tastings from twelve Virginia wineries, savor fare from food purveyors and browse work by local crafters and artisans. Explore Poplar Forest, enjoy musical entertainment and visit with “Thomas Jefferson,” himself. Admission for those 21 and over includes a complimentary wine glass.
