Santa arrives by rail at the Link Museum in Roanoke.
It really is the most wonderful time of the year and here’s how you can enjoy it with those you love most:
- Begin with a parade or tree lighting ceremony to really get you in the spirit. One of Virginia’s biggest is the 26th Annual Ukrop’s Christmas Parade in downtown Richmond. It’s a two-miler featuring big balloons like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
- Travel 100 Miles of Lights from Richmond to Virginia Beach. The buildings are lit, as are magical gardens, landscapes and more!
- Go Christmas tree hunting and make it an all day family adventure. Expect hot cocoa, sweet little gift shops and the best customer service to be found.
- Tour historic homes and even some private homes all decked out in their finest for the holidays.
